About the application

The application replaces the Record Book and you can conveniently have all your posts/records of activities in one place, in electronic form. Additionally, the application allows you to check your progress both within individual activities and the overall level. Thanks to the application, you can share your achievements on social networks or check the news from the world of DofE.

How the applications cooperate together?

One is designed for leaders, the second is for you – the participant. Applications interact between each other and transmit information, often with the help of notifications. The role of the leader is crucial, because if your leader will not actively use the application, you cannot work with the application properly and effectively.

On what systems do the mobile application work?

The app currently works on Android and iOS. Applications will be developed for Windows in the near future, but is not available on this platform for now. The application will also work on iPads. Although it is not optimized for tablets with Android, it is possible that it will work on this type of tablet as well.

How to register into the application?

Your Leader must create an account in the leader’s application for you. You will then receive an email with a download link and a code, which will be used for the first login into the application. In the case your Leader does not use the application, you will have to continue with the use of the Record Book as before because the mobile applications cooperate together.

What if you do not own a smartphone?

If you do not own a smartphone, but you would like to use the app, there is a possibility how to overcome this problem. If the leader creates an account in the leader’s application for you, you can simply log on with your login details on any device on which the application will be installed and functional (e.g. a friend's phone). You would then record your activities this way.

If you would not like to take advantage of such an opportunity, you will continue to use the Record Book for the necessary period.

How does cooperation with the Leader operate?

Your Leader can always check your progress within DofE activities and overall level, the Leader can also warn you that something regarding your activities is not correct. If such a situation occurs, you will receive a notification that will appear on your mobile phone. Whenever you begin a new activity at any level, the leader must first approve this activity and its aim. Likewise, the leader must approve, when your particular activity is completed. The last important milestone of cooperation between the Leader and the Participant is the completion of the level, which must be approved by the Leader.
